Totally Enlightening. A Great Study Tool.

You don't have to be a newly-saved Christian to use this Bible study. Re-reading and studying brought me new and deeper meaning from His Word. I challenge every Christian to read and apply the principles taught in So, You're a Christian! Now What? to their lives. I want more Bible studies like this one! Thank you.

Excellent!

So You're a Christian! Now What? by Catherine Painter is an excellent comprehensive Bible study for individuals or groups. The author's thorough and extensive Biblical knowledge is evident in that she incorporates numerous applicable scriptures in appropriate categories. Illustrations from her life add relevance and interest. Surely, one of Mrs. Painter's spiritual gifts is Christian writing.

There’s not another Bible study like it!

I’m impressed with So, You’re a Christian! Now What? This study has been sorely needed for many years. How wonderful it would be if all new Christians would begin their Christian experience with twelve weeks of Catherine Painter’s Bible study before choosing a Sunday School class. At the end of the twelve weeks, a new class would already be formed and bonded, or members would be prepared to enter a Sunday School class and understand what's going on. So, You’re a Christian! Now What? is a great choice for new or spiritually mature Christians, whether in small group Bible studies or for use during Sunday school or Discipleship training.

Superb!

The beginning of any life is birth. So it is natural to look at a spiritual birth as a beginning. This is the theme of this great Bible study. Catherine Painter's teachings have an authentic approach which is one of the best I have ever read. I appreciate her sharing her former lack of understanding about the Bible and Christian faith. Her vulnerability allows the reader not to feel put-down when he or she also experiences a lack of understanding. I especially enjoy the humorous aspects of Catherine's stories under "Reflecting" portions of each lesson. She really knows how to laugh at herself and we, the learners, laugh along with her and at ourselves as well.

Fabulous Bible study and well worth your time!

This study is wonderful for all Christians - "new" ,"old" and those of us in between! You will learn a lot about the Bible, about yourself, and about what being a Christian entails. I attended another Bible Study following Catherine's written by a different, famous, writer. The book that went with that study was certainly educational, but it made me really appreciate So, You're a Christian! Now What?, how much I learned from it, and how it has pushed my journey with God further down the road. The book has a "turn the next page" lure that will keep a learner wanting to complete more and more of its pages. Thank you, Catherine, so much for writing it!

Just what every new Christian needs!

I am a new Christian and have been searching for some sort of book to guide me now that I've accepted Christ. I've been reading lots of books and have done a couple of other Bible studies, but this one is exactly what I, being new to faith, needed. I've used this Bible study on my own and have found it invaluable. The author has written this study in thirteen lessons about Christian fundamentals that have really helped me to better understand what it means to be a Christian and how to grow spiritually. I am grateful for this study and how much it has helped me know where to go and what to do now that I'm a Christian. I look forward to reading more by Catherine Painter.

I highly recommend this Bible study.

So, You're a Christian! Now What? will help any reader to become a better Bible student because of the emphasis on scriptures, the thought-provoking questions, and the creative exercises which keep interest high. I especially like the "Write Your Story" section at the end of each lesson. By the end a Christian has his or her spiritual biography written--a unique and exciting aspect. This Bible study is well-written and outlined in a way that encourages each reader to look inward, take stock of where he or she is in living the Christian life, and determine what he or she can do to keep growing in Christ.

This has been the most eye opening experience for me!
As a 62 year old woman who accepted Christ at a young age, I thought that I was leading a Christian life and doing everything the way that I had been taught as a child. After completing So, You're a Christian! Now What? I discovered answers to questions I had had all my life. This has been the most eye-opening experience for me and lets me know that I have a long way to go. The meaning of being a Christian has a whole new meaning for me after completing this Bible study.

A Great Start for New Believers/Baby Christians!

We use So, You’re A Christian! Now What? at our pregnancy resource center in our class for new believers. Many new Christians are not connected with a church or small group for discipleship. We try to provide a foundation that will bridge this gap and answer their questions while their zeal is high. By the completion of this Bible study, they should feel comfortable selecting a church and moving on to fellowship in a church. It is also appropriate for those who are considering the gospel but have not made a commitment to Christ.

So, You're a Christian! Now What? has been the perfect resource for our small group study. We looked at a lot of books, videos, and workbooks in our search for a study aid that would appeal to young adults and take new believers into the Scriptures. It is well-organized, each lesson building on the one before, and it covers the basics of Christianity in a format that is interactive and easy to follow. Though we use it for a group, it would be appropriate for self-study, too.

I recommend this Bible study to others who want to grow spiritually.
What a wonderful gift Catherine Painter has shared through her finding the Lord's will for her life. For me to start again at the beginning of my journey in Christ (I'm a senior adult now), was such a humbling experience. I am so thankful for So, You're A Christian! Now What? because my life is more peaceful, and God is speaking to me more because I'm opening the door for Him.

So many Christians young and old should go through this Bible study because life is so short, and we need to understand how important God's Word is to communicate and include Him in our journey on earth.
